Oracle GoldenGate Director is a multi-tiered client-server application that enables theconfiguration and management of Oracle GoldenGate instances from a remote client.
Oracle GoldenGate Director consists of the components shown in the following diagram.
总体就是一个可以监控goldengate进程状态的工具，这里我的安装架构是：Oracle Goldengate Director Server/Client、weblogic安装到windows平台Oracle Goldengate 安装到linux平台总体配置：
Windows：Version：win7Weblogic：10.3.6Database：11.2.0.1.0Director Server/Client:11.2.1.0.0Java:Jre 1.6 32bitLinux:Source:name:zbdba1OS:redhat 6.3database:11.2.0.4Goldengate:11.2.1.0.1IP:192.168.56.60Target:name:zbdba2OS:redhat 6.3database:11.2.0.4Goldengate:11.2.1.0.1IP:192.168.56.61这里不说goldengate、weblogic、java的安装配置了。安装Goldengate Director Server：按照提示下一步就行了，到database user那一步时候，需要在windows所在的oracle上面创建对应的用户安装Goldengate Director Client按照提示下一步就ok启动Goldengate Director Server：进入server安装目录D:\GG_Directorgg-director\domain点击startWebLogic启动Goldengate Director Client：进入D:\GoldenGateDirector点击：GDSC Admin Tool
用户密码为：admin/adminserver:windows IP地址，加安装时指定的端口选择Data Source，配置监控goldengate
Fully Qualified Domain Name : GoldenGate实例所在的服务器名Manager Port : GoldenGate实例MGR进程端口号Data Source Name :原则上可以填写任何名称。建议制定命名规范。点击Check–Connection 验证连接。GoldenGate Info:Host Operating System: 选择WU（即Windows/Unix意思）Database: 选择数据库类型。Oracle数据库应选择ORA。GoldenGate Version : 11.1.1.1点击 “Save”，然后点击“Yes”。从左侧的面板上选择刚才创建的Data Source（只在通过ODBC连接时才需要填写），填写完其他信息，包括：Default DB Credential:DSN: 数据库实例名或服务名Username : 用户名Password & Confirm Password : 密码Access Control:Owner : 选择admin（表示配置该数据源的owner为admin，，也可以选择admin外的用户）勾选Host is Observable选项（表示配置该数据源对其他用户可见，也可以不勾选）GoldenGate Version : 11.1.1.1点击“Save”登录web监控平台：:7001/acon/loginForm.jsp
用户名/密码：admin/admin
功能很明显，去体验吧。对于有配置有很多goldengate的公司是非常有帮助的，可以随时监控每个系统goldengate的每个进程状态
