mysql如何打开3306端口?

我在Debian下装了mysql-service-5.0，用远程工具Navicate登录不了。网上说是没打开3306端口，要找到skip-networking这一行注释了。但在my.cnf中根本没有这一行。只有这行一句话

# Instead of skip-networking the default is now to listen only on

# localhost which is more compatible and is not less secure.

bind-address = 127.0.0.1

我把bind-address改为客户端ＩＰ 192.168.0.179后，mysql都启动不了了。请问怎么解决？

然后添加其它端口：3306

没有远程用户的话得先添加远程用户。
